Rebreather Training

The PADI CCR Rebreather course allows divers to learn to dive using the Hollis Prism 2 P2 CCR.

Prerequisites

  • Be a Certified Advanced Open water diver
  • Be a Certified Enriched Air Diver
  • Be a Certified Deep Diver (or have proof of 10 dives at 30 metres)
  • Have logged a minimum of 30 dives, with at least 10 using EANx deeper than 18 metres.
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Certify as a Rescue Diver before Training Dive 5
  • Before Certification, have at least 50 logged dives.

During the course, we focus on the Hollis Prism 2 assembly, maintenance, cleaning, pre-dive checks, disassembly and the unique features of the Hollis Prism 2 CCR.

To take this course you must be…

  • 18 years of age
  • Have completed a Medical Statement
  • a Rebreather Certified TEC CCR diver with a Recognised Training Agency (PADI, TDI, IART, RAID IANTD, PSAI extra)

What is included in the PADI Hollis Prism 2 CCR Rebreather Diver Course?

  • A 2~3 day course on the use of the Hollis Prism 2 Rebreather, based on 2 dives per day. Courses are performance based so can take longer in some circumstances.
  • Engaging theory and practical sessions with lots of hands-on experience and discussion on focusing on the difference between the unit you are already trained on and the Hollis Prism 2 P2 CCR Rebreather.
  • PDF Version of the Hollis Prism 2 Manual ( Download Here for Free )
  • One confined water dive to refresh your RB skills and understand the Prism 2
  • Two open water dives to ensure that you’re comfortable with the new CCR
  • Divers with non-PADI TEC CCR qualifications will also need to read the PADI manual, complete the knowledge reviews, watch the Video, take the CCR Exam and complete an additional dive.
  • Please Note: Non-PADI CCR divers will need your own copy of the PADI CCR 40 Rebreather Manual.
  • On completion you will earn a new PADI certification card for the Hollis Prism 2 CCR.
