Try a Discover Scuba experience with one of our PADI Professional instructors. Find out what it is like to breathe underwater, feel weightless, and glide around effortlessly. This will introduce you to the world of scuba diving, whether that is to find out if you like it or begin your scuba diving journey…

This will introduce you to the basics of the scuba diving experience, and with your TAL Scuba PADI Professional close by you will have a fun and exciting diving experience. PADI Discover Scuba Diving takes place in an indoor heated swimming pool so you won’t be cold and is great fun all year round.

GETTING STARTED

WHAT DO I GET WHEN I DISCOVER SCUBA?

Discover Scuba Experiences normally take around 2 hours. This includes a theory and classroom based session and of course, your very first dive in one of our indoor pools.

You can experience Scuba Diving from as little as £22.50 per person*

The experience itself comprises of:

  • A 20 minute video briefing
  • A short knowledge review / quiz
  • Safety briefing and overview of the pool session
  • Your very first dive with one of our instructors!

*£22.50 price based on two or more divers booking at the same time, individual diver’s are priced at £[magento_price id=83 method=ajax].

WHAT DO I NEED WHEN I DISCOVER SCUBA?

Divers between 8~10 years old should check out our the PADI Bubblemaker page for information on starting as a junior diver. All others divers will need the following to Discover Scuba Diving.

  • A completed PADI form, available to download below
  • A swimming costume
  • A T-Shirt that you don’t mind getting wet
  • A Towel

All other necessary Diving equipment will be provided by us!

DIVING LOCATIONS

WHERE DO I DISCOVER SCUBA?

Our Discover Diving Experiences normally take place in one of two locations; Either at 2 Riversmeet Swimming Pool in Christchurch, or at our own heated swimming pool at our TAL Scuba training facility in St. Leonards.

All experiences must be booked in advance so that we have the right equipment to offer you the very best Discover Scuba Diving experience.

TAL Scuba Dive Pool

TAL SCUBA ST. LEONARDS (RINGWOOD)

  • Heated indoor pool
  • Available with notice depending on instructor availability
  • Ideal for smaller groups and one-to-one instruction

2 Riversmeet Christchurch

2 RIVERSMEET CHRISTCHURCH

  • Full-size 3m deep municipal swimming pool
  • Available Wednesday nights 8pm~11pm
  • Ideal for larger groups, schools and corporate experiences

Ferndown Swimming Pool

FERNDOWN LEISURE CENTRE

  • Indoor, heated swimming pool
  • Availability TBC
